The audience tag is required on all nsw.gov.au pages and is similar to the ‘agency’ and ‘topic’ tags.
These tags are mandatory so that we can improve search and personalisation for customers on nsw.gov.au. By adding meaningful tags to our content, we can provide more accurate personalisation and search results, and a better user experience on nsw.gov.au.
Adding an audience tag in the CMS
Your content won't publish if the 3 mandatory tag fields aren't populated. You will be prompted with an error message if you forget to add the mandatory tags.
