Adding a content block on a landing page

Landing pages are built through a combination of sections and content blocks. Follow the below steps to learn how to add a content block on your nsw.gov.au landing page.

Adding a block on a landing page

  1. Go to the Layout screen of your landing page and click Add section. (If you don't know how to add sections follow the instructions for adding a section on a landing page). If you're adding a Text - WYSIWYG block this should be added in a 2/3 width left aligned section. 
  2. Click on 'Add block'.

  3. In the right side menu, click on 'Create content block'.


     
  4. Select which block you want to use.

  5. Fill in the fields for the block as necessary with the required content.
  6. Once finished, click on 'Add block'.


 

How to update an existing block

Hover over the block with your cursor until a pencil icon appears on the top-right of the block.

Click on the pencil icon.

  • 'Configure' will re-open the block editor window.
  • 'Move' will allow you to move the block to another block space in the section. This can also be done by click-holding the block with your left mouse key and dragging the block within the section.
  • 'Remove block' will delete the block.
