Landing pages are built through a combination of sections and content blocks. Follow the below steps to learn how to add a content block on your nsw.gov.au landing page.
Adding a block on a landing page
- Go to the Layout screen of your landing page and click Add section. (If you don't know how to add sections follow the instructions for adding a section on a landing page). If you're adding a Text - WYSIWYG block this should be added in a 2/3 width left aligned section.
- Click on 'Add block'.
- In the right side menu, click on 'Create content block'.
-
Select which block you want to use.
For guides on how to use these blocks, see available components for Landing pages.
- Fill in the fields for the block as necessary with the required content.
- Once finished, click on 'Add block'.
How to update an existing block
Hover over the block with your cursor until a pencil icon appears on the top-right of the block.
Click on the pencil icon.
- 'Configure' will re-open the block editor window.
- 'Move' will allow you to move the block to another block space in the section. This can also be done by click-holding the block with your left mouse key and dragging the block within the section.
- 'Remove block' will delete the block.
