To ensure we maintain the quality of content on nsw.gov.au, all CMS users must complete mandatory learning programs before access is granted. The online, self-paced programs are completed via the nsw.gov.au Learning Hub.

Overview of learning programs
The content of each program has been designed to ensure all users are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to use the nsw.gov.au CMS and nsw.gov.au Google Analytics.
CMS Level 1 foundations
- e-learning modules, instructional videos, step-by-step practical demonstrations
- mandatory practical assessment in the nsw.gov.au training environment
- online access to trainers for learning support
- estimated time required: 6-8 hours plus the assessment

How to access the learning programs
- Submit a request on our user access request form. This request must include approval from your manager.

Once your request has been processed, you'll receive step-by-step instructions to access relevant programs.
Important information
- All CMS users must complete the required learning programs before access to specific CMS functions is granted.
- The CMS Level 1 Foundations program includes a mandatory assessment that must be passed to be granted access.
Training completed over a year ago

If it has been more than a year since you last completed training and your access has been deactivated, you’ll need to retake the relevant learning program before your access can be reinstated.
