The Quick Exit button displays a button that is always visible as the audience scrolls down the page and is use for an urgent matter. For example, a quick exit click to another website. This component is available on both the Easy Read and standard pages and is referred to as a Floating banner button on a landing page.

When to use a Quick Exit button
Do
- Only available for use on Easy Read and standard pages
- The button text should be clear and concise. Limit of 50 characters. Try to limit the button text to 2 to 4 words
Don't
- Don't use the Quick Exit button for general call to actions like newsletter subscriptions
How to add a Quick Exit button on a page
- Select Add Quick Exit button
- Enter the details for your button banner.

URL (mandatory): add a link to another page.
- A link can be internal path such as /node/add or external.
- Enter <front> to link to the front page.
- Enter <nolink> to display link text only.
- Enter <button> to display keyboard-accessible link text only.

Link text (optional): the button text. Maximum 50 characters. Try to limit the button text to 2 to 4 words.

Contextual information (optional): add clear and concise contextual information to the button that will show on the banner. Use sentence case.

URL (mandatory): add a link to another page.
