Using the Media download component
Do
- Use the Media download component to feature a downloadable file.
- Follow the guidance for document naming and governance guidelines when creating your document.
- Consider using the Resource template for documents.
Don't
- Do not use the Media download component if the content is available in HTML format and no download is required.
- Do not use the Media download if you're able to instead convert your document to an HTML web page. It’s more accessible and a better customer experience if your information is on a web page rather than in a downloadable document. If it is for a form, consider creating a webform instead.
