New feature requests are functionality/processes that you would like to exist in the nsw.gov.au Content Management System (CMS) to help you achieve a business need. They are components or functions that will add value to your current daily tasks in the CMS. They will enable you to improve the customer experience of nsw.gov.au.
Examples of these can be:
- A creation of a new component to help you embed a livestream on your page.
- An interactive calendar that will show students and parents the key dates for a school term. They can also save the dates on their phone’s calendar apps.
- Integrating your webform with an external data platform.
We welcome you to submit your request on the Request a New Feature form, regardless of the significance of the feature.
Once you submit the form, a request will be created and you will receive a confirmation email with the request number.
The relevant team will then review your request. You will also receive updates as your request progresses along this process.
