There are a variety of ways to enter line separators into your content on nsw.gov.au. Each way has different use cases, pros and cons.
The most common problem you may experience when using a line separator is padding or spacing issues. You may be able to change your line type to resolve your issue. It will depend on your page type, what type of line can be used:
- For standard pages a line can be added as a Line separator, or it can be added within a WYSIWYG content block as a Horizontal line.
- For landing pages a line can be added as a Line separator, Section divider or it can be added within a WYSIWYG content block as a Horizontal line.
Changing a Line separator to a Section divider on a landing page
You may be able to resolve your spacing issue by deleting your Line separator and adding a Section divider.
To add the Section divider:
- Go to the layout screen of your landing page.
- Click on Add section instead of Add block
- Click on Section divider
