The revision section in the CMS allows you to track differences between multiple versions of your content and to revert to older versions.
Accessing the revision log on standard and landing page templates
- Select the moderation sidebar, which will display the page's current moderation state (archived, draft, pre-published draft or live – published).
- Once you have selected the moderation sidebar, scroll down and select Show revisions
- You will then see the most recent revision log for the page. Select View all revisions to access the entire revision log
- Once you click on View all revisions you will now have access to the entire revision log and be able to revert the page back to a date/version of your choice.
- You will also be able to search revisions by user, moderation state and date
- To revert a page back to a previous version, find the date/time that you would like and select the checkbox. Then click the Revert link in the left column
- Once you click the Revert link a confirmation message will appear confirming that you would like to revert the page
Select the Revert button to have the page automatically revert to the version you selected.
- To make sure the page is the correct version, view the page as you normally would when editing it. If it isn’t the correct version, you can select another date to test or revert the page back to the most recent version.
