Guidance on agency attribution

Have more questions? Submit a request

The purpose of agency attribution is to add information to the end of the page to let website visitors know which agency is managing the page they are on. It surfaces the data input from the agency tags and/or page owner.

Guidance

  • Appears on all pages on nsw.gov.au.
  • At least one agency must be tagged for a page.
  • You can tag multiple agencies for a page.
    • The latter agency tags will display after the first agency tag.
  • If a ‘page owner’ is set in the page tags, this value will override the ‘agency tag’.
  • The agency tag links to the agency landing page (if available).

Note: If you select a page owner, this will override the first tagging.
