The NSW Government site (nsw.gov.au) runs on the platform Drupal. It is the content management system (CMS) that agency editors use to create, edit and publish their webpage information.

The Digital Channels team have now upgraded the CMS to its latest version of Drupal 10. With this upgrade, CMS users can expect even greater customisation and performance. This makes it easier to create and manage agency website pages that meet the needs of customers and nsw.gov.au site visitors.

Some of the updates in this upgrade are:

  • Improved CMS usability and accessibility
  • Improved nsw.gov.au site performance as content load faster
  • Improved security with bug and vulnerability fixes
  • Better support for modern browsers
  • A new word processing module that will speed up management of links and images within the CMS
  • Improved interaction for developers to allow new features, enhancements and bug fixes to be developed with ease.
