This guide will help you understand what's involved if you want to get your one-off post published on NSW Government social media channels.
Our channels serve as a central place for NSW government communications. They are a trusted source of information for NSW customers.
Our approach is to showcase news from departments across NSW Government, collaborating with agencies to produce engaging platform-specific content that is relevant to the audience.
- Facebook – audience is general population, with focus on those aged 25 to 64. It has multicultural, metro, regional and rural targeting opportunities.
- Instagram – audience is youth based - Gen Y (born 1981-1996) and Gen Z (born 1997-2012), digital natives with high expectations.
- LinkedIn – audience works in government administration and are interested in government updates. Targeting options are available for specific industries and businesses.
