Every week, the Content Management System (CMS) undergoes a platform release, where new features and enhancements, as well as fixes to issues/bugs, are implemented in the system.
Release R1.159.0 occurred on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Below is what is new, and what was resolved, in the CMS for this release.
New Features
To ensure all webforms on nsw.gov.au are in compliance with the Information Protection Principles (IPP) for agencies of NSW, it is now a requirement for all webforms to have a Privacy Collection Notice. Head over to the article Using a Privacy Collection Notice for your form to do this.
There is a newly developed Profile block which has been added on both landing and standard pages to allow details of key persons to be rendered on the different pages as per agency needs.
The process of adding person’s information is the same as the current process for agency landing pages.
The Profile block is rendered on front-end with the following:

- Image (Square)
- Role (optional)
- Full name
- Social channels (optional)
- Summary (optional).
When creating the person’s profile, qualifications of the person can be added within ‘summary’.
Content editors can add as many profile blocks as they need. The profile blocks take 4 column width on the page, so the maximum amount of Profile blocks in a row is 3. If there is 1 or 2 Profile blocks added in the row, it will still take 4 column width per block and will leave the rest of columns in that row as blank.
Mobile view will have cards stacked on each other.
Accessibility
To accommodate screen readers, users are able to tab through each card, followed by its social channel links. The Profile blocks are also supported on desktop, different browsers and on mobile.
Updates/Enhancements
The subscriptions block provides a simple, consistent format for including an external link to mail list forms, for example Mailchimp, where the audience can subscribe to newsletters or updates.
The “in page nav” found on Standard pages by default displays all H2 headings present on a page. A new dropdown field ‘Heading type’ on the Subscriptions block has been created that will allow content editors to include and exclude these headings on the in-page nav where required. This allows for flexibility with the way the page navigation is set up, making it possible for Content Editors to hide H2 headings in Subscription block.
The available heading fonts are now as below:

H2 (Excluded from page nav)
- When this value is selected, the heading will be an H2 & it will be automatically excluded from the in-page nav

H2 (Included in page nav)
- When this value is selected, the heading will be an H2 & it will be automatically included from the in-page nav

H3
- When this value is selected, the heading will be an H3. Note that H3 headings are not picked by the in-page nav.
- None: The value “None” is introduced in the option values by Drupal & is not easy to remove. When the Heading type is “None”, it will have the same behaviour as H2 (Included in page nav).
Issues/Bugs
Previously there was an error when adding webforms with privacy element in the new landing page. This has now been resolved.
