You can insert a link to your PDF in the media library within a WYSIWYG block editor.

Note: It is recommended that your PDF file is accessible before it is uploaded to nsw.gov.au. You can do this by making your documents SEO friendly before uploading.

1. The PDF file must first be uploaded in the media library if it does not already exist there.

2. In the WYSIWYG editor, select the words that you want to use as your link text
'Test this is a media link' typed on the WYSIWYG editor. 'media link' is highlighted.

3. Select the Link icon in the toolbar.

4. Start to type in the Title of your media file in the URL field, and select it from the 'Media - File' list that appears

5. Enter in a Title that will appear as a Tool tip for screen readers about what the file is about. Do not repeat the file name. Instead type what the file is to be used for

6. Click Save

This will now appear as a link within your content.

Media link is now a hyperlink to the pdf file 'how to protect your health fact sheet'.

PDF files in the media library can also be updated if a new revision or version of the PDF is available.
