Every week, the Content Management System (CMS) undergoes a platform release, where new features and enhancements, as well as fixes to issues/bugs, are implemented in the system.
Release R1.153.0 occurred on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Below is what is new, and what was resolved, in the CMS for this release.
Updates/Enhancements
The Dialog block component has been updated in the Digital Design Guidelines (DDS) to have two variants. In adherence to this, a new Variant dropdown field was added on the Initial CTA section of the Dialog block component setup, so that a Content Editor can use these two variants on any standard page in nsw.gov.au. Content Editors can do this by selecting 'Dialog' on the Plugin dropdown when adding in a Block component and selecting either ‘Simple’ or ‘Callout’ from the Variant dropdown field. This allows Content Editors to display call-to-action information with more relevance and context to the content a nsw.gov.au user is presented with.
The 'Simple' variant features body copy on a white background with the CTA button underneath it, while the 'Callout' variant has both the body copy and the CTA on a gray background.

Issues/Bugs
Previously, when displaying recent recipients of a grant on nsw.gov.au, the awardees are not sorted by the date they were approved the grant. This causes confusion for nsw.gov.au users reading through the recipient list on the Grant page. Code has been updated to resolve this issue, so that Grant recipients are now displayed in the order they were approved the grant, with the most recent recipient on the top of the list. This provides nsw.gov.au site visitors with an easier experience of reading through information on a Grant page.
